Yes I do have the marriage online, but not the cert. Which is why I was hoping to find him on census to get names of parents etc

His father will be named on the marriage cert.....both parents on his birth cert......unless he was illegitimate

Where did you get the info that he was born in Guisborough?

1911 is playing silly b's.....tried to search for a Robert born c1885 living in Middlesbrough..........the results were for Market Harborough!

ALSO................Guisborough was a separate registration district

Morrish doesn't seem to be a North Yorkshire name................more a South West England name
