that sounds like him all i know he comes from wales i want to find his father but dont know any thing at all about him how do i find out any ideas would be good

If this is correct then my gut instinct is to think that he was probably the one born in Carmarthen and this is likely to be his parents marriage:

Hughes Thomas Upton Carmarthen 11a 2875
Upton Harriet B Hughes Carmarthen 11a 2875

To confirm you will need a copy of Thomas Henry's marriage certificate to see who he named as his father.
