hi there im trying to find my grandad thomas henry hughes he was born in 1920 in wales he died in 1984 he was married to ivy buxey in 1948 please help me

big place Wales!! any idea where in Wales? and what else do you know about him - Hughes is a very common name here in Wales

If so and he was indeed born in Wales then I suspect that one of these two are likely to be a record of his birth:

If this is correct then my gut instinct is to think that he was probably the one born in Carmarthen and this is likely to be his parents marriage:

Hughes Thomas Upton Carmarthen 11a 2875
Upton Harriet B Hughes Carmarthen 11a 2875

To confirm you will need a copy of Thomas Henry's marriage certificate to see who he named as his father.

that sounds like him all i know he comes from wales i want to find his father but dont know any thing at all about him how do i find out any ideas would be good
