I had thought that when you mentioned Edinburgh you meant the SP centre. I went a couple of years ago to the NAS but knew about the ID . What I didn't think about was ordering the divorce papers that I wanted in advance. I ended up ordering copies of them, and very useful they turned out to be. While I was there I was also able to view the police report regarding my Great Grandfather's mugging in 1891. That too was interesting reading as it contained his hand written statement and also the statement that his wife had made which had to be written for her as she was unable to read or write. |
