Wife of Edward Kripps and aunt of J C Patterson,,Millie Kripps age 83 died 3/8/1911.. her home was north of Nokomis, llinois U S A.. was buried 5/8/1911 at the M.E.Church interment in Prospect Hill cemetery U.S.A.,,,,i found a letter in my grandmothers papers and I know she had a sister Millie ...wondered if she had children and how would I find out, why and when did she move to America need help to solve the puzzle from ELAINE ... |

sorry.. yes my grandmother was born in south hetton Houghton-le Spring Co Durham in1896 i know she had sisters sally ..Jenny..and a Margaret .and a Millie...their father was William Welsh mother was Isabella Wlsh formerly Michell |

it looks as though her siblings had all (except my Grandmother Rita Laura) flown the coup by 1911..she used to say that her sister Margaret had gone to America to marry supposedly the Mayor of the county of Illinois but that is hearsay..but i do have old cards from Margaret her address was 26,So Central Ave Clayton-Mo U.S.A. so now i'm wondering if Millie and Margaret went to America together ?? |

where have you found a Millie listed with the family? could she have been Isabella and known as Millie cos her mum was Isabella too |

oh no of course she died 1911 ..just puzzled why she would have recieved notification of her death ...unless it had been her mother Isabella's letter that she has kept all these years .don't think we will ever know thanks Shirley xx. |

that's possible.. my father used to talk about the aunts as he remembered as a boy millie could be a pet name ..afraid I only got same as you on the 1911 census pity there is no one to ask now they all gone ... |

I will do that may find Margaret on a passenger list somewhere and think i will try to find Amelia and her family got a feeling this is our Millie but will have to prove it.. heaven knows who the one is or was in USA too much of an age gap |
