As her death was registered after 1969, the certificate should show her birth place. |

Can't find birth of Ethel Constance but there are quite a few Ethels. I think you're going to have to buy the marriage certificate to get her father's name. |

Hi MM, Recent mailing in from a married-in member confirms she was 1894-1982 as STEEL then WOZ. then HURD (This latter the m-i Line). Certs. all show STEEL as Maiden |

Thanks all, I'll have to get both B & D Cert. on her as she still evades me still but, that 1969 pointer is new to me so again appreciated, thanks! |

Gosh, no wonder I can't track her, as her/their Son-in-Law, distanced by circumstance, I've always assumed it was a remarriage to HURD! the Derby connection is confirmed though and your ref. valued here. I feel a 'back-to-the-drawing-board' moment is called for? Grateful! |

Mind you, there is a marriage of Ethel Wozencroft to a Hurd: |
