Jan I think this is probably that Adam Stevenson whose death you found in Ulverston - as his daughter Mary is age 6 in 1881 (born c1875) it is unlikely he had a daughter Mary in 1867 |

Hi SomersetGirl. I did think that that could be her parents and i didn order the certificate- 1868 mary cowell and adam stevenson in preston. adam is noted as an engineer and his father is noted as Daniel Stevenson. I cant seem to find a mary and adam with a mary theresa that is the right age. |
