Hi Carol - searching for Clark's is a nightmare isn't it? A very POPULAR name (not common at all, as my mother would say. :) Actually, I had discounted the Sussannah Neagle marriage for my own Henry Clark (whose father turns out to also be a William) - also from Hackney/Bethnal Green.

I've had a quick look but haven't managed to turn up anything - and others are far better than I am at doing this anyway.

Possible marriage if above correct and she stayed in Lambeth ??

Carol

Carol Report 15 Feb 2011 13:43

Thanks all for the help. I would think perhaps Lucy was in the above to start with as she would have been young in 1893 when she was an orphan, but had perhaps left by 1901 and working somewhere. Do you think I would be able to get a list of girls in the Refuge between 1893 and 1901
Thanks Carol
