Have been over to Ancestry and put info in about Clara Ann Hoare and it's record matches showed the death of a Clara A Lanchester in Surrey in 1951, So I believe it is her. Thank you Susan and everyone else who has helped. |

Have found a Clara A Hoare born in 1868 in Bruton Or Shepton Mallet, Somerset, don't know if that is her. Looks like Emily was married and living with her parents. |

On all census returns until 1911 Clara was born in Warwickshire. |

Emily in the 1911 is Epps not Lanchester. So, was Clara married before to a Mr Epps? |

In the 1901 census, there were 6 children, 5 Albert, William, Charlie, Gertie, and Bertie are in the 1911, Emily who would have been 13 doesn't appear and they would have been in Croydon. It definately appears to be right, so confused about where she was born. |

Hi Susan, I was just about to ask that. It certainly appears to be. I have the children listed. It was when I first looked up my Grandfather I started with the 1901 census which had her as born in Aston. Confused and still haven't found anything as yet. |

Yes, she married Albert Lanchester in Dec 1887 in Aston. My Grandfather was Bertie Lanchester. |
