Hi,
I would appreciate any help in finding out about my ggg grandfather. I was told ( not sure) that he was in the Royal navy in England and travelled to Australia in the 1850's.
He would have been in his 20's and it is told that he jumped ship, when it got to Australia.
He married in 1879 in Australia to Elizabeth Lillian (Lillie) Bailey.
He was born in Gloucester at a residence called Cherrington Park.
They had six boys and one girl.
William Ernest Walter
Thomas Edgar DeWheelock
Herbert Hugh DeLuput
Robert Francis
Charles DeMalcus Edward
Emily Mary Naomi
Jno Gethryn Gilbert

They Lived In Bass and then shifted and lived out the rest of their lives in Grantville, Victoria, Australia.

Thankyou to any one who is willing to help me
