Find Ancestors

Please does anyone know where Willian Kerrison, a baker, was living in the 1851 census? He was a widower age about 46 (born Norfolk) He was in Holt in 1845 and died in Sheringham in 1857. I hope he will have children with him, ? Ann 19, Maria 17, Elizabeth 16, William 14, Charles 11, Susan, Sarah Sophia, Martha and perhaps Henry, but I think he and his mother died in childbirth. Thank you so much Nicky, I don't know how you did it, but you must have found the right family because their places of birth match their names and birth years. Can I ask you another favour? Did the census say what Ann, Elizabeth , William and Charles were doing in 1851? I wondered if they helped their father in a bakery or if the boys went to sea. many thanks again, Kevin

Hi, Sylvia, You're getting amazing results. I had Susan Bullen as the informant on William Kerrisons death certificate in 1857, and couldn't work out where she came from, with your help it looks like she was the sister of Sarah, Williams second wife, wow!
I don't know when Charles went to sea, but he was sailing the Panama/Sydney route in 1866-69 and married again in Sydney, but I have never found out what happened to his first wife Phillippa (His daughter Martha E is on her own in 1871) I really can't thank you enough for sending me this information, it open so many new areas in my tree, Kevin

I had found Martha as a Boarder in 1871. A family tree on ancestry implies that she married Francis Warnes, and had a son Francis in 1886 in Hartlepool. I'm not sure about this!!

I can find Mary his wife on the 1871 census living in Sheringham ...... but can't see him.

She is a widow by 1881
