In 1871, the name has been mistranscribed, but a change has been made to the index on ancestry ... the transcriber forgot to change the surname between two households. It is very clear on the actual census image! |

Hi, yes I was told there was a child called Clara who died, as when Sarah Jane fell pregnant and and had a daughter she was called Clara Ann,, this Clara Ann was raised as the child of Henry and Frances the grandparents, we were told this is the reason the family came to Australia because of the illegitimate child of Sarah Jane Griggs, Clara Ann was only 4 when she came out, with the family. thanks again |

This is a Submitted record on the I G I on ww.familysearch.org ....... which means that someone, probably a member of the LDS church has sent in the informaiton ...... and there is no backing documentation, so it is impossible to know how accurate the information is. |

Yes it looks like them, I believe that this is Stephen and Ann Hewitt, not sure if it has 1 or 2 t's in her name, but I believe you found more of them,, any idea how I can find Ann Hewitt's parents, or who Stephens parents are, this is been a problem no one knows or heard who they even might have been, They had the christenings in St Johns, Margate Kent, so maybe there is a marriage there as well for Stephen and Ann, there are now lots of questions,,, Kathy |
