I am trying to find parents of Violet Bisson born Jersey c1914, have little to go on but her parents were probably called James and Edith / Lilian. Bit of a mystery so any help greatly appreciated. Later living in Guernsey.

I have searched the births in all 12 parishes between 1910 and 1920 but have not been able to find a birth for Violet Bisson.

Now I'm not sure if these people are yours on not (I'll need to go and look at the certificate) but I have found a marriage between a James Ed Bisson and a Lilian May de la Mare. The problem is that it's at a rarely used church and the register spans the years from 1907 - 2002. Also there is a James Ed Bisson in the 1901 but he is only 7 months old at the time so too young to be the father of a child born in around 1914.
