gr. grandad Harry Ashby seems to be non existent, but I have photograph's of him, and was 6yrs. old when he died in 1950.
He is nowhere to be found on any census, but he was in service, so whether this has any bearing I don't know. He married Evelyn Lily Gattrell at Marylebone Parish Church in the 1890's. He was born around 1868 and her 1867. I have found her line prior to marriage, but not together. From Madeline

His father is Henry Ashby and a Carpenter and the marriage was 26th.Oct. 1891. The address at the time was 11,Wimpole Mews.
