Hello, So you think I have the wrong Elizabeth, Can you shed any light on the correct Elizabeth and was there any other mistakes with the info you can see in my tree?Is there any connection between our trees?

Hello Shirley,
I had a look at your tree and the parish register for St Mary's, Barnsley. I think the George you have was son of Thomas Steel & Mary Hirst, born 7th April and baptised 14th April 1782. My ggg grandfather was George son of Lawrence & Ann born 28th March, baptised 17th April 1786 also at St Mary's. He was the one who married Elizabeth Fairclough 25th Dec 1805.
There is some reference in your tree to Clayton with Frickley - have you tried the parish records for the marriage of George(1782)? John
