Thankyou agaln Sue, I'm about to go and check out some of these sites myself. Think I've found a distant relative, 5 times removed and need to find Percy and Florences marriage cert to prove or disprove.

There are lots of sites out there,if you go to the tips Boards there are people coming up with all sorts of places to search ,I just jot them all down and when I need them I use them.

Hi Rose, I was led to believe they had grown up, but my dad may have had his facts wrong. I found his fathers death registration in April 1943 and as the story goes his mother died within 6 months of him, but I can't find her death reg. 3 years either side of 1943. Dad was the youngest and put in an orphanage as a baby as his mum was put in an assylum, or so they say! So he probably didn't remember that much of the family.

I have deleted as I followed the wrong family

Did any of the twins survive?

If they didn't take a breath when they were born there won't be a birth registration for them.

Hi Susan, I found Francis on births on genesreunited, Jul,Aug,Sep 1917. It is my uncle Frank, but I didn't know his name was Francis. I met most of my dads family when I was 14 but have not seen or heard from them since. I'm much older now, My dad has since died and I have no connection with any of them. I didn't mean that a twin might have died, it is just that I believe there are still 2 missing, out of the 11. I'm in Australia, don't mean to sound dumb but is OZ Australia or somewhere else ? sorry don't mean to give you things to do, but it was a thrill to have someone help me...thanks again

I cannot find a birth for Francis H 6a 372 ,where did you get that ref from as it is not coming up on Ancestry or Free BMD.

If the twin died at birth I don't think it is shown as a birth reg.

Sorry forgot Edith was aunty Winnie for a moment,I just remembered, there was a set of twins, but I can't remember which one was a twin. I know it wasn't Victor, Hector, Hilda, Edith, or William.

Hi Susan, yes I think we are on the right track, but you have missed one brother that I know of. Francis H, 1917 , jul 6a 372. It is great you have found my aunt Winnie, I didn't know her first name and was unable to find her in the birth records.
Are you able to go forward to any of my living relatives. From my dads brothers and sisters. I did not know there was a third sister, do you know if she died young or could you find out about Edith. I don't think there was a Derrick or Thomas either. Maybe they were cousins. Are you able to find out what the initals for Robert stand for or not.
