HASSELL, Henry Head Married M 55 1856 Collector Pearl Life Assurance St Georges Parish Leicester (which-news to me- is either in Lancs or Manchester) editing this-that's what it says on the 1911 image
HASSELL, Jessie F Wife Married

They say they've had 3 children. 3 still living. So far I've only seen Reg* and Flo*.

I don't quite get where the Baker name crops up though.

St. George Parish Church is in Rutland Street, Leicester. I don't know where the Manchester/Lancashire comes in.

Sorry if folks are confused.

All I was really after was thoughts on what the child Henry's surname might be.

I knew that Lucy,(former married name Baker) the grandmother in the 1891 had a daughter called Jessie Baker and that there was a Jessie Hassell on the 1891 married to a Henry - the musician from Leicester - and was hoping that people with more experience than me would confirm that the son/grandson Henry's name could be read as Hassell, which would tie the 2 families together. Hope that's not made things more confusing!

As always the people on these boards deliver above and beyond.

Many Thanks

Hello Barry

Thanks for looking and I will pass that on to my friend in Australia although I'm pretty sure it's not the Henry on the 1891 because I actually found his birth this morning at the Jersey Registry Office - so not born in Shoreditch at all, it could well be a connection. He rejoiced in the given names of Henry Richard Resistance and the parents were Henry Hassell and Jessie Baker as I had hoped.
