Find Ancestors

hi
i have a marriage cert for Henry Newey and Ruth Lilley in 1850. Henry's father's name is WRIGHT NEWEY. I was hoping someone might have come across this name in their searches, i cannot get any further back with my search, i have only one match when searching for henry in 1841, he was born 1825/6 but the parents are not readable and i don't know anything else about henry to make sure this is the correct family in 1841, can anyone help

the marriage took place in Dudley, worcester, Henry was born in Lye worcesterchire, i'm assuming they are around the same place

I have found them in 1851. and can follow them up to present day, i cannot go back any further, if anyone has any tips please feel free to advise me

their occupations were NAILER and the witnesses were Harriett Robbins and Edward cooper

the 1841 census i in woodside, Dudley.
this is the only match i can find for the birth year of henry, but i don't know if this is his family, and i am trying to think of ideas to try to find some more information.

I have contacted this member on Denise's behalf. I also found another member with Wright Robins as father, one more with Wright Newey as father and three others with Henry Newey born Lye, Worcestershire 1826 in their trees, so I contacted them as well.

Denise has sent several PMs to me. I thought I'd post the relevant info here to save duplication of effort. I think she's enjoying researching Wright Robins herself.

i have looked in 1841 for wright robins and have found a family in oldswinford, Lye, I'm getting very excited, harriet robins is in the family and i have a harriet robins as a witness on henry newey's (robins) marriage cert.

i didn't realise about the area in the 1841 census family that has been found. I have looked on LDS and found a Wright Robins marrying a Maria Newey in 1827 in Old Swinford, Worcester. I am trying to find a birth for henry now under both names.

i'm getting more confused, i thought the name Wright would be easy to confirm but it seems there's more out there than i thought, i will work through the info all you kind people have researched and will let you know which is relevent to me, thanks to everyone, thanks to david.

I think there is only one, but people found out Henry's father's name was Wright and just assumed it was Wright Newey. I'm guessing the two with Wright Robins have actually confirmed all the details and found the child was illegitimate. Let me know if you get any emails.
