Thank you Londonbelle, maybe it's FreeBMD that's letting me down because there are no Garbutts born in Wetherby at the right time. |

This could be the family in 1911 but William doesn't appear to be with them |

Thank you all for the weird goings on. At least it's not me losing it. I hadn't seen anything of the name Dodsworth before, could there be a Garbutt/Dodsworth marriage??? Further investigation necessary. |

Could this be the parents marriage...one of the brides is missing, could it be Eunice? maybe her maiden name was Adcock? if you notice on the 1911 census they state they`ve been married for 30 years ....and Georgina is 31, so think she was probably illigitimate... |

Think maybe Wilson Adcock didn`t die c1881....and can`t find a marriage for Eunice and John dodsworth.....think she may have not been telling the truth on the 1911 census when it states they`ve been married for 30 years... |

Looking at the 1901 image it looks like John & Eunice are living next door at 18 Primrose St |

Don`t worry Frances...we`ve all got some of those...the more you find out, the worse it gets...and just because I can`t find a marriage dosn`t mean there wasn`t one............that may not be the correct Wilson Adcock, but if it was it would explain why there was no marriage for Eunice and John. |
