Although the record says born 1858 the original image looks like 29 with the 2 heavily scored through with a 1 - so I'm thinking he was 19 and not 29.

EDIT - so therefore the birth you found is more than likely the correct one.

I'm assuming that the second Rose on the 1901 census is actually Matilda Louise as the age is about right - but what happened to Estel Ada and May Emeline?

I can't see any deaths for them on freebmd - unless I'm missing something!!

Ah no - just seen there are two Rosina's AND a Matilda in 1911 - I'll go back and see if I can find the baptism for Rosina1889.

So Matilda, Ethel and May are all missing in 1901.

Looks like the baptism for Rosina Alice Edney - mistranscribed as Drey and the original writing is pretty awful and certainly begins with a 'D'

However, the father's occupation is given as Printer which would fit with the compositor on the marriage certificate
