Find Ancestors

Hello everyone.

On the 1871 Census, one child of Samuel Phipps born c1822, Mary c1871, I cant decipher the census. Unsure if she is 5 years old, 5 months old or 5 days old. Also seams to be a rather large gap between her older siblings Ann c1852 and Sarah c1868.

Just wondering if someone can translate this for me?

you will pick it up, usually on the census the family would be put in order. If there is someone inbetween it often means a seperate family,

I would say it was 6 days and Alice is Samuel and Emily's daughter in law as she is a widow and there is a marriage between a George Phipps and an Alice Deabill in 1868 in Nottingham
