Find Ancestors

Does any kind person out there have ancestry access and would be willing to look for two people for me?

I am trying to find Robert Goose and his wife Catherine. I don't know Catherine's maiden name (could possibly be Corn) or when they would have married but they were both born c. 1825 in Lancashire. I have details of them on the 1851 census with a two yr old daughter, Alice, but have no knowledge of them either before or after that.
I would love to find out something more.

Catherine's name is Corn here on BVRI but there's an obvious mistake giving her father's name as William Goose:

These names are awful to research - the Goose's are bad enough as they swap to Gorsts and back again, and now I've got Corn/Curren/Curwen - think even Smith may have been easier to research! Is the BVRI on the family search site? Had a quick look there but couldn't find anything - I obviously don't have the knack!

No, Michelle, BVRI isn't online. It's a set of cd's that I purchased many years ago. They are extracted from parish records so quite relaible except, of course the name of Catharine Corn's father.

I shall be in Bolton le Sands sometime over the next few weeks ( my Mum in Law lives there and one of my children were christened there) also in Warton ( where I used to live..it's a small world !!) so if there is anything we can do to help....give me a shout.

The surname certainly looks like Corn but as Catherine could not read it was possible just how the registrar thought it should be spelled or just the way he scribbled it the first 3 letters are fairly clear but the last bit is a bit of a squiggle
