Charles Henry Green my grandfather died 1944 , was born app 1872 supposedly in London. I cannot find his birth cert His parents were george arthur green and louisa green nee Dunn.i have him on census returns 1881 1891 1901. Can anybody assist please in any way. michael

Are you sure of the parent's names? The only marriages in London that I can see between 1865 and 1885 for a Louisa Dunn to a green are these:-

they may have married in lancs app 1870 . i have them on the 1871 census at blackley lancs, The family in 1881 census were at mile end london. On 1891 census they were in marylebone london.

How can Charles Henry Green have married in about 1870 if he wasnt born until 1872 please?
