hello everone,
no I dont know for a fact , but every one seems to think they did, but just dont know where from.
Lower cumber is not far away from Kidoag , about 1mile.

However there is a Knobbs pub in Killdoag. and I understand, by word of mouth that the McBeths were connected in the past. with the Knobbs. It looks highly likely you have found that connection. Its a very small community.thank you .Sue.

hello every one , thanks for responses re Andrew McBeth. I havent got death cert yet. As his sons were Blacksmiths small farmers i presume he possibly was as well .
I know that the land they lived on was owned by the Skinners Guild of London. I know that my grand father Robert McBeth was an Orange man.
Are there any records kept by these organisations? Iwill look at names you have givem. thank you .regards.
