If you are looking for bmds in Stockton, Middlesbrough etc. Teesvalley indexes is the one to search because the marriage gives a spouse name not just possible spouse as freebmds. Also its free to search.

Hello, well thank you so much for your help Mrs Bucket, Quinsgran, Marylin and Sylvia! It is lovely to of you to take you time out and help me with my research and to Sylvia thank you also for the earlier censuses. I did have these but it is good to see that I was on the right track and not going the wrong way! Thank you again. Also, it was lovely, but sad to see Ernest Featherstone in 1901 ... I hadn't seen this before and a month later in May he was killed in an accident at work in the Ship Yard. I'm going to go and really look over this but thank you again!

Thank you for looking also for Wilson in 1901 ... he just disappears! This is much appreciated.

Just realised that Ernest in 1901 is not Ernest son of Wilson, but a cousin of his ... phew, this can get quite confusing sometimes!

Oh, Margaret, thank you for your find also! I hadn't seen this before! Erm, to be honest, I am a little lost as to what to say. I suppose this is baby is a relation of mine, but Westmoreland is a long way from County Durham and West Yorkshire. Erm I am a little lost as to what to say ...
