My Grandad Lewis was born in Amesbury in 1866 (census returns state Bideford) to John Wilding and Phoebe, nee Nicklin. He disappeared after about 1912 leaving his wife Amelia and six children to fend for themselves. Where did he go? What became of him? When did he die? |
