Ann of Green Gables

Thanks for replying to my request for info ref. Lewis Nicklin Wilding. After he married my Granny Amelia 1891 they lived in Birmingham, then they started moving about e.g. Glasgow, London and when he disappeared he left his family in Rayleigh - Essex. He's a sort of will-o'-the-wisp' character and I wish I could find him.

Regards Moira

My Grandad Lewis was born in Amesbury in 1866 (census returns state Bideford) to John Wilding and Phoebe, nee Nicklin. He disappeared after about 1912 leaving his wife Amelia and six children to fend for themselves. Where did he go? What became of him? When did he die?
