please can anyone see Eleanor summerbee on 1901 census?
She was born in may 1891,birth registered Chertsey so probably not on 1891
The only 10 year old I can find in 1901 is Henrietta Summerbee

Actually i think the pauper is her as she was born in Chertsey

That George and Louisa are on the 1901 with no children

Could be they are not her parents
perhaps they are the jane and john in Luton

I can't see the 1911 family anywhere in 1901, John seloyn (SELWYN) was also born in Chertsey.


I wonder what John Snrs occupation was??? Military? If os they could be overseas??

It is so difficult when they turn up as boarders with another family
i wonder why he was travelling around so much

Re "Eleanor" in the 1901 -- she is actually Eleanor Rose, one of several children of Mary Rose in the list -- the image makes it clear her surname was intended to be Rose.

So not our Eleanor.

Oops, I see she was found while I was investigatin'!

so he is now a boarder in kent while the family is in Norfolk
no wonder i couldn't find them!
