leba -- do correct those names at Ancestry. On the left of the census record, there's a link that says "Add Alternate Information". Select surname, make the correction, and add a note to state your relationship. That way anybody looking for her will be able to find her -- and to find you.

Re "Eleanor" in the 1901 -- she is actually Eleanor Rose, one of several children of Mary Rose in the list -- the image makes it clear her surname was intended to be Rose.

So not our Eleanor.

Oops, I see she was found while I was investigatin'!

It is so difficult when they turn up as boarders with another family

She was born in may 1891,birth registered Chertsey so probably not on 1891
The only 10 year old I can find in 1901 is Henrietta Summerbee
