Have just received a letter from an elderly member on my Husbands side of the ffamily-did a letter last week and had a lovely reply back-with a photo! really chuffed. Only thing is he reckons that the place I thought his grandparents came from is somewhere different! Now He is possibly going on what he was told by his Father-who is long gone-so I may still be right-bnut I need to check it out as I'm panicking now!

For definite we Have Frederick Tapp born1889 Exeter Devon. Hisparents George and Elziabeth Tapp (nee Atkins)
My relative seems to think that Freerick came to Exeter from Exminster Devon as a child with siblings Bess Fred Bill and Frank.-his dad worked on a farm and they had to leave as he got ill-and then came to Exeter. Can anyone find any evidence of this.
As far as I have it George Had always been in Exeter born about 1859. Although I have not been able to locate him 1in 1881 so I suppose he could have lived there for a while.
