A copy of the marriage certificate should show Kathleen's father's name.

"Thanks for the put off" - sorry I dont understand. You have given people virtually nothing to work on - and all the info we are turning up you can find yourself for free anyway. And without more info, its all just guess work.

My suggestion was to go back to the person who was related to this lady and get more information to save people floundering - you always find there is usually more information to be had, even when they say thats all they know. If thats a "put off", apologies.

I am always amazed at the patience of some of the helpers on here - willing to trawl for stuff with no idea if they are on the right track bless them.

Thank you to the people found the HICKS, after taking with my in law she was able to give me the names of 5 aunties with the surname of HICKS.
