on the 1911 census i have found my grandfather albert age 24 born mile end london his mother mary elizabeth widow was married 29 years.Both of them born in mile end do not show on previous census.can anybody help with birth details or maiden name of great grandmother thanks. gloria.

There are heaps of marriages for Sharpl* on FreeBMD - but not too many in London. And the London ones seem to be Sharplin/Sharpling etc.

Absolutely no guarantee it's the right one - might be worth looking for Mary Sadler in earlier censuses to see if age and place of birth match. If they do you might be able to find the couple in the 1881. BUT it is a longshot.

I cant find a Ohlson/ Sharp* marriage ,but of course she may never have married in law and just used the childrens fathers names??
