I have a photo of William Goodenough and Emma Lovegrove born 1855 which could be a wedding photo .My grandmother is in it aged about 11yrs which makes the date of the photo about 1892 . All I know about William is that he was blind and was a piano tuner.I have been unable to find any information on the wedding so any help would be appreciated. The photo was taken outside a cottage in Wantage.

Do you have any census info or is that what you are after

Do you have a birth cert with Emma's name on?

Even more confused.

If Emma is still Lovegrove on 1901 census then this is a possible marriage but not to William

Yes in 1901 census she was Emma Lovegrove I can only think that the name on the photo is wrong maybe like so many of my relatives they used maybe middle names, do you now which month the census was done in1901.
