Ok have received Emily's marriage certificate this morning, feels like christmas.

The marriage certificate confirms her fathers name was Thomas Jolly

i have already applied for emily jolly's birth cert this morning so hoping to receive it shortly.

The only way to be ABSOLUTELY sure that you have the correct parents is by buying the borth certificate for one of the children.


Then buy the marriage certificate to find the names of their fathers.



There is no short cut that may not end up with you getting things very wrong.




£7 is not a lot to pay to be sure that you have the correct ancestors!!

i believe that is her in 1891 jan, i have that one already, then in 1901 she is living with her husband and family, but its now her parents i want to know about
