Sorry I wasn't on line yesterday or this morning, trying to convince my OH that I am not addicted to the computer and GR!

1911, 2nd April = Cliff and Annie Burvill and William 6, Winifred 2 and Charles 3 months, living 30 Youngs Road Folkestone. What was interesting is that Annie had a son, also called Charles, born in Horsham prior to marrying Clifford. The 1911which is signed by Clifford Burvill, states that she has had 4 births 3 still alive and 1 dead. Charles number one is with his grandfather in 1911 so obviously alive. Annie may have had a child with Clifford that died possibly between William and Winifred and Clifford didn't know about her first child.

I found a tree on Ancestry that has Winifred marrying Charles Marsden which is the same one I found by Googling.

I took a risk and did a transcript of 26 Jarvis Road Sth Croydon in 1911 but they were totally unrelated people there.

SYLVIE. The information on Annie's passage back to Oz is brilliant thank you x

EDIT - Just read the census again and the heading says children born ot this marriage so one must have died

Have had another look on findmypast.

This is her going back after the incoming that Ginny found.

Mrs A L Burvill born 4th August 1881 left London on the 8th October 1958 aboard th Oronsay. She is described as Single but that also covers widowed or divorced. UK address 26 Jarvis Road Croydon.

I have tried allsorts of spelling variations and found nothing at all not even the info Jonesey found for 1912.

Have you looked on the 1911 census yet??

So the year and quarter of birth match perfectly to the find my past ships record...looks like youre onto a winner. You just need somone with Find my past to help

Annie was Annie Louisa so the L fits. I will try to put any info that Deborah is giving me on here to keep it up to date. She is in bed now in Brisban. Are you in Australia Ginny. I thought that I may have to go awal but OH has just switched his computer on behind me so hopefully I will get another couple of hours,

The Burville children are William James Birth Reg: Elham, Kent 1905, Winifred Mary BR Dover 1909 and Charles Edward BR Elham 1911

I found, by Googling, a marriage between a Winifred M Burvill and Charles W Marsden in BAnkstown NSW this was in 1930. Also a death for a Clifford Burvill in Burwood NSW in 1943.

I'll give this thread little while to see anyone sees it and takes up the Find My Past challenge before I start another thread and get told off. lol

I cant find this on Ancestry, prob mistranscribed but if someone out there has access to Find my past they will be able to bring up all the details

heres what I could find for free regarding immigration...it seems to match up with the arrival in early 1958..looks like she went back to Oz

Her sister died in 1962. I emalied a cousin who said Annie died in 1975 but she doesn't know how she knows this or where she died!! I can't find her in UK

Just wondered when Annies sister died. Annie may have come home 1958 if her sister was ill or had died...you said the address she was heading to was her sisters?

Thank you very much Jonesey and Ginny This is them I have been looking for them for ages.

I had an idea about some of her children as I think I have found them on the 1911 and I will now pay to view it and try to clarify it.

Annies sister lived at Jarvis Road, Croydon so I guess she came home, as she was 76 I wonder if she stayed or went back. I'll look for a death now.
