also my cousin just told me that my grandma does have a brother and a sister cos her sister (margaret) lives in Australia and that not so long ago my grandma went to visit her i totally forgot about that bit haha

i need to find out when this david and margaret were born

i need to find out when this Gladys and Harry was born

so why cant i find her on the IGI site then

her mothers maiden name was stephenson

Well if you get her birth cert this will give her MMN and then we can search for others with the same surname combination.

also im trying to find out if my Grandma Patricia has any siblings

So you are on your own with this then As i said I would get the marriage cert and this will show their ages and both Dads names. I think a possible birth has been posted on here for Patricia and once you know her dads name you can use that as a checking point when you order the birth cert, I really dont think you will be able to be certain of ancestors without buying some certs to check .

rather than guess I think you will have to buy the marriage cert for Patricia and John and take it back from there

sadly we dont speak to my gran she thinks of her youngest child (aunty helen) before anyone else

So your grandma Patricia is still alive?? surely she will know her mum and dads names .or even your mum may know her grandparents names. I knew the names of my grandparents .

i think my gran is about 73 my grandad died when he was about 76/77
