Hi Katie

What was your grandmother's name? When was she born and do you know where? When were your grandparents married?

The more information you can post here the easier it will be to find the information you are looking for.

SO your nan was Patricia Woodhead this ties with births found for Judith etc
If you get the marriage cert for Patricia and John this will give her age and her dads name so will help to go back further

Ah thats a shame, things like that often happen in all families though.
Doesnt your mum have any idea of her grandparenst names

Shirley~I,m getting the hang of it Report 27 Jun 2009 23:06

rather than guess I think you will have to buy the marriage cert for Patricia and John and take it back from there

Shirley~I,m getting the hang of it Report 27 Jun 2009 23:12

So you are on your own with this then As i said I would get the marriage cert and this will show their ages and both Dads names. I think a possible birth has been posted on here for Patricia and once you know her dads name you can use that as a checking point when you order the birth cert, I really dont think you will be able to be certain of ancestors without buying some certs to check .

Well if you get her birth cert this will give her MMN and then we can search for others with the same surname combination.
