That's interesting Pam

I wonder whether Rosina was the daughter of one of Dorcas's elder /younger siblings ( which could account for her living with Dorcas's mum , dad and brother in 1891) and when Dorcas and Charles married they took her in as we have no knowledge of an out of marriage birth for Dorcas but there was another baby born within the larger Simmonds/Nunney family in 1905 called Elizabeth Rosena

Dec 1905 Simmonds Elizabeth Rosena Westbury S. 6a 270

which is a bit of a name co-incidence isnt it.

I would love to know the answer so I guess when I can afford it I will have to apply for her birth certificate unless before then I can get one of the more direct members of her family to do it as I have my own family mysteries to finance and an appaulingly low income.
