Do you know exactly when Ernest was born, Dusty? There are these in West Ham. If he happens to be the last one, it's when they started putting mother's maiden name. This one is Goode.

THAT HAS GOT ME ALL CONFUSED NOW, I DO KNOW THAT HER BIRTHDAY WAS 20TH FEB ABT 1900, AND MY COUSINS ARE SURE HER FATHER WAS CHARLEY AND MOTHER OLIVE, CHARLEY DIED IN ONE OF THE LAST BOMBS TO HIT CANNING TOWN AND OLIVE DIED IN 1940 SHE( MY GRANDMOTHER NOT OLIVE) HAD A SISTER DAISY THAT WAS BORN BETWEEN 1912 AND 1918 NOW THEY ARE ALL MY CARDS SO TO SPEAK ON THE TABLE

Just out of interest, Dusty, my grandmother was also a Lizzie. When I started doing family tree I naturally looked for Elizabeth. Couldn't find any records until I found out that she was always Lizzie and never Elizabeth.
This must be your Lizzie but I can't find her on the 1901 census.

What was the occupation of Charley the father?

There is a family in 1901 with some similar names in West Ham.
Father Charles is a house painter. Mother Elizabeth.

Daughter is called Olive,( 13 months ) with baby brother, Charles 6 weeks

A COUSIN OF MINE SEEMS TO HAVE FOUND AN ENTRY FOR MY GRANDMOTHER'S LOST RECORDS. 1911 CENSUS SHE WAS NAMED AS LIZZIE SMITH, INSTEAD OF ELIZABETH BORN 1900, FATHER BEING CHARLEY SMITH AND MOTHER BEING OLIVE, NO OTHER RECORDS TO BE FOUND GOING BACK. ANY CLUES OUT THERE???
ALSO BROTHER'S CHARLEY BORN 1901,WILLIE 1903, JOHN 1905 AND ERNEST 1911 PLACE BORN PLAISTOW WEST HAM
I WOULD BE VERY GRATEFUL FOR ANY HELP
