The district Prescot is in the county of Lancashire

GEORGE LOTHIAN MONRO - International Genealogical Index

and this marriage:-
JOHN DAVIDSON MONRO - International Genealogical Index

JOHN MUNRO - International Genealogical Index
Gender: Male Christening: 01 DEC 1839 Kirkden, Angus, Scotland

you may, however, want to buy a few birth and marriage certificates to confirm all this!

Marriage:-
DONALD MUNRO - International Genealogical Index
Gender: Male Marriage: 07 JUL 1838 Kirkden, Angus, Scotland

there's also this one:-

Catherine

Catherine Report 19 Feb 2009 16:28

Hi Mark,
Just checked on Scotland People and there is a marriage in 1838 for Donald Monro to Ann ?
As I said in my pm I have no more credits left so can't view the record but I've managed to narrow it down to a date and place:-
Surname - Monro
Forename - Donald
Spouses Name - Ann
Date from 08 June 1838
Date to 08 June 1838
CountyCity - Angus
Parish - Dundee
Last search found 1 match.

Tried same thing using name of:-
Davidson
Ann
Donald
and found three marriages.
One on 7th July 1838 - Kirkden
Two on 21st July 1838 - Farnell

could be a good idea to check these all out to see what they say!
