It certainly looks that way Tracey. Charlotte is with her husband and daughters in 1891 but Maud is with Edmund and Maria so it seems that they were bringing her up as their own.

i think i will apply for the marriage cert and if their names on it and my ancestors fathers name matches what i already know then i guess its a almost dead cert

Ok right the marriage found for you was in 1888, and Maud was born in 1881.

So it's still very likely this death is the lady you are after.... just because she had a child out of wedlock doesn't mean she would have remained unmarried all her life....unless you know otherwise?

Where does Maud come from??
Are you sure that the Charlotte you are looking for is the daughter of Edmund and Maria?
In 1891 after her marriage she is living with Fredk Fairbrother and they have two daughters Annie and Minnie who were both born before their marriage as one is 9 and the other is 7. Now whether they are his children from a previous marriage or hers or they belong to both of them I don't know.

Maud is the wife of my great grandfather Oswald Trickett Mauds mother is Charlotte Evans on the birth cert of Charlotte no husband is listed

Sorry i didnt mention that the daughters name was Maud Evans...would she of been born out of wedlock if her name is same as mothers
