It certainly looks that way Tracey. Charlotte is with her husband and daughters in 1891 but Maud is with Edmund and Maria so it seems that they were bringing her up as their own.

Does make you think then that the husband has refused to have Maud in his household as he's not her father?

The other possibility is that he knew nothing about her. Maybe Charlottes parents took the child on from birth to give her a better chance of marrying.
Something we will never know!
