There's a tree on Ancestry that has Richard Morgan Applejohn born 1 July 1884, Wales and died November 1949, Perth, Lanark Co., Ontario, Canada. He married Lucy Ivy Kate Cooke.

APPLEJOHN, Richard Henry "Pete" - 80, Digby, passed away peacefully at home on November 15, 2007. Born in Liverpool, England, from where he immigrated to Canada in 1929, he was a son of the late Richard Morgan and Lucy (COOKE) APPLEJOHN. Pete served with the Royal Canadian Navy for 25 years, retiring in 1967. Pete was the Chief Laboratory Technologist at Digby General Hospital for 23 years, retiring in 1990. Pete was active with the Boy Scouts of Canada. He enjoyed sailing, gardening (especially growing roses), visiting family and travelling. Pete was a member of the Order of Good Cheer and the "Irving Coffee Club". Pete had many friends and has touched many lives. He will be fondly remembered by all who knew him. He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Verna Mae (WARNER); daughters, Nancee (Adrian) DYER, Bayview, Digby Co.; Pamela (Stephen) SAVARY, Shore Road, Digby Co.; sons, Richard (Jane), Perth, Ont.; Peter (Heather), Prince George, B.C.; Gregory (Debra), Lighthouse Road, Digby Co.; Mark (Nadine), Langley, B.C.; sisters, Pamela ZEITZ, Carp, Ont.; Margaret "Peg" MOULTON, Perth, Ont.; brothers, Gary, Ottawa, Ont.; Michael (Christine), Sault Ste. Marie, Ont.; sister-in-law, Bev, Ottawa; grandchildren, Jason (Marie- Claude), Matthew (Summer), Leah, Danielle, Kirk, Joseph, Craig, Nicholas, Lesley, Kyle, Jared, Ryan, Hollie and Stephen; great-grandchildren, Cassie, Maeve, Karrara, Shyla, Kaiah, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by grandson, Richard Christopher APPLEJOHN. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday in Digby United Baptist church, Rev. Donald Robertson officiating. There will be a reception held in the church hall following the church service, and all are welcome. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. Family flowers only by request. Could this be his brother Gary in Ottawa?
