Hi Syvia,
I am not sure about Mrs Buckets's posting because the ages are wrong. Also Elizabeth Tubby born Bedfordshire was the son's wife although I thought it was Harry who married Elizabeth from Bedfordshire. I need to think about this.
The'lost' William would be about 63 in 1901 and Elizabeth his wife about 66/68

Still trying to find William Henry Tubby age 63 and his wife Elizabeth Ann Tubby 66/68 living Lewisham/Islington area in 1901.
You've all given me lots of info but the 1901 is still elusive. they could be Tubby or Tulby or anything similar. Unfortunately there was another William Tubbyand Elizabeth who married the same year which also confuses things.

PS I have been trying myself but can find nothing!!

Thank you Ivy.
This has got to be them- taking over Claremont Mews!
Because the ages were wrong for William and Elizabeth in Mrs Buckets earlier post I was a bit concerned but this has to be them so I feel a great sense of relief at having found them!

Thank you so much.

Thank everyone for all their efforts.
