	Sylvia has found them in 1861 . They are only lost in 1901 now!! Help still needed!! LOST -my Tubby family, ie Elizabeth Ann Tubby and William Henry Tubby. I have them in1871/1881/1891 and 1911(so I know they were still alive then, living in Lewisham) but cannot see them in 1861 or 1901. Can you help? William was born in abt 1838 in London( Holborn or Islington) and Elizabeth abt 1835. In 1861 he would be 23, in 1901- 63. Elizabth a few yrs older. Elizabeth was born either Middlesex or Ashford Kent, censuses vary. William Henry was a cab proprietor (there were lots of Tubby children who later seemed to take over the business in Claremont Mews). Where are they in 1861 and 1901. Are they transcribed as something else? I've tried to find them with help but we cannot see them!! Can you help? Chris Only lost in 1901 now.

	For Lindsey's query -they married in 1858 William Henry Tubby to Elizabeth Ann Pullen. In 1881 they were living in Claremont Mews with son harry,Charles and daughter Elizabeth. William Henry was a cab proprietor and his sons cab drivers. Same address in 1891 but their sonCharles is living at 1 Claremont Mews with wife Sarah. and at 8 Claremont Mews is son Harry with his wife Elizabeth (another Elizabeth Tubby). Earlier in 1871 they were in North Mews and from my old notes, I've written mistranscription of name (Tulby) Another address-when William Henry Tubby married in 1858 he was living at Doughty Mews. Does any of this help?

	Sylvia!! Brilliant I am sure you have them in 1861. I was a bit dubious at first because William's son's wife came from Bedford not William's wife then I remembered thathat Elizabeth's parents had been married in Bedfont Middlesex. A check on William and Elizabeth marriage cert and I saw that their daughter had been born in Elm Street-just the address you have given so a big THANK YOU!!! I just need them in 1901 now!!
