Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. There's a 10 hr difference between OZand UK.

Well done. At last they've been found! Yes, servant would be right for Charlotte as she was supposed to be a servant in the Royal Household.

Did you spot them next door when you viewed number 7?

Pleased that it's sorted for you.

I didn't see them when looking at number 7, the image is poor and I was looking for a Charlotte or Maria. Walter was the one I found and the date and area for Elizabeth/Charlotte just fell into place.

Hi Denise,

When we found her in 1881, we really thought she'd been incorrectly recorded as Eliza but another piece of the puzzle falls into place. It seems her parents did call her by the pet name Eliza after all and she held onto it.
