According to the census record above there were two years difference in their ages so I would suggest that the birth reg sbove is also not the right one for our Sarah. Oh well back to the drawing board!
Gotta go out for a while but will try and follow this up later today or tomorrow.

Just noticed Astra Sarah has a brother William born the same year 1897, in Pendleton, could they be twins .

is it possible for me to find that address in wigan Astra.

oh my god astra!! how on earth did you find that, do you realise how many avenues this can open up for me .i find it strange that they had my Grandad at 70, Bridson st Pendleton, I never dreamt that they had a child in wigan,what on earth were they doing up there,do you think they may of had some relatives up there.

Found them. The spelling is the other way around so I took a look for Sarah with the alternative spelling. Still not Salford though.

yes they were brothers and sisters, they had several half brothers and sisters on the 1901 census in pendleton.

I know they were still in Pendleton in 1912, at the same address because my grandad was born there in 1912. thanks for everything marie.

Prescot is closer to Liverpool than it is to Manchester. Do you know if the family moved around at all.
