Find Ancestors

I have just received Ellen Bateley's birth certificate. Her parents were John Bateley, Labourer and Jane Doughty. It says Jane Bateley late Doughty formerly Dunton. Ellen was born in Lambeth but John & Jane were born in Norfolk about 1801. John died in Lambeth before the family went to the workhouse and Jane died in the workhouse in 1851. Can anyone help me find their marriage certificate?

Thank you is not enough to say for finding this information for me. I have been trying to find Jane Bateley in the 1851 census as I believe she died in the workhouse Lambeth. I still cannot find James Bateley's siblings either. Is it possible to find his siblings in 1851 and the death of John Bateley before 1851 and Jane Bateley in the workhouse in 1851.

I just today found another member of my family who has more details of the Bateley family. They say the son James Bateley was born about 1833 in Fakenham Norfolk. Mary Bateley born about 1828 in Surrey Baptised on 3/5/1829. Can you help me find them

There is a marriage of John Bateley to Jane Doughty 22/11/1827 Brancaster, Norfolk .

I have found out from a family member I have just found that John & Jane Bateley were born in Norfolk about 1801. They then moved to Lambeth where Ellen was born. He died around 1851 and Jane & the family were sent or taken to the workhouse. Jane died in the workhouse in 1851

Sorry , John Bateley & his wife Jane lived & married in Norfolk before going to Lambeth London.

I live in Australia & it hard for me to stay on line with the time difference. I read a note from some one with regards to people staying on line for any questions that may need to be answered. I have just found a cousin who has a little more detail about the Bateley family. It appears that Jane and her children went to the workhouse in Lambeth after the death of John Bateley. His wife Jane died in the workhouse in the same year they went there, 1851.

Best you could hope for is a baptism for John as he was born c1801 not sure if he was born in Surrey it looks like a U where the yes's go.Nothing on freebmd for their deaths. And I can't find either of them on the 51 census.
