For reference, is this the right 1901 census? Seemingly Nostell is near Wakefield so it looks like you have the right one Cass. |

Hi Liz.I think we have the correct person.On the Canadian's Soldier's of War,he's the only one! and birth place,although mistranscribed is corrct match born 6 December 1880,Occupation..Miner and wife Eunice.Cass |

There's a cemetery listing in Halifax of Patricia McDougall died 7 Feb. 1997, aged 77, daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Thomas Gledhill of England. |

There is this birth which matches with MMs find for Patricia's burial in Halifax. Very strange if it does match, they seem to have been back and forward a few times. |

Well done Cass!!! I'm impressed at your detective work. I wonder why Tom was shipped back to Canada in 1918 only to travel back to England in 1919. If his family came back in 1912, you'd have thought he would have stayed here at the end of the war. |
