Had a look for any deaths for Amy Dales ?, to try and work out who she married, and came up with this one:-

The district Boston is in the county of Lincolnshire

may not of course have anything to do with your research but as it's an unusual name maybe worth keeping on file?

I have ordered the Amy Dales Tinker 1860 Marriage Cert. so it will be interesting to see what that says when it comes.

Hi,
well he also is difficult to track on Census.
He married a Sarah Ann Godfrey in 1872, who died after only a few years, then he married Susan Crow in 1885.
He turns up on the 1891 census in grimsby (fisherman), and in Oct. 1895 he dies.

If Joseph died in 1864 what happened to Charles?
Did Amy marry Charles Cordon or William Goy? I can't find either on the census.
